Support the club

Our hikes are free. We can keep them that way thanks to participants' donations and the support of people who believe in what we do.

Clubul Montan Transilvania is a non-profit association. All the work behind the hikes is done by volunteers, and the money we receive goes into equipment to lend (crampons, trekking poles, radios), promoting the hikes, the membership fee of the European hiking federation and accounting. Redirect 3.5% of your income tax

If you earn a salary in Romania, you can direct up to 3.5% of the income tax you have already paid to the club. It costs you nothing: the money does not come from your pocket but from tax that would otherwise stay with the state.

The easiest way is online, on redirectioneaza.ro (in Romanian): fill in form 230 with your details, sign it on screen and you are done. It takes two minutes, and the club files it with the tax authority (ANAF).

The form can be filled in between 1 January and 25 May, for the previous year’s tax, and stays valid for two years if you tick that option.

If you have income for which you file the Declarația unică (single tax return, for example self-employment or rent), you can choose the club directly in the return, in the section on redirecting tax: CIF 46366469, IBAN RO70 BTRL RONC RT06 4644 8301.

Donating is optional and has no effect on joining hikes. If you would like to donate, make a bank transfer to the club’s account in the days after the hike:

Companies can support the club with a sponsorship contract: for equipment, for a specific hike or for the club’s activity in general. The club is listed in the ANAF register of entities eligible for tax deductions (Registrul entităților/unităților de cult), so companies that pay corporate income tax can deduct the sponsorship within the limits set by the Fiscal Code. Write to us and we will send you the contract and the details.
